AA) The inspection is done at mill premises, after 100% completion of the lot production, as listed below:

  1.  Checking the total number of cartons / pallets as per the packing list.
  2.  Random selection of 5% of the lot quantity, either cartons (or) pallets are drawn for the lot inspection.
  3.  Checking individual Gross and Nett weights of the Cartons and checking carton box quality.
  4.  100% Visual Inspection of all cones, for the yarn and package defects, if any.
  5.  100% UV lamp checking to ascertain any Shade variation.
  6.  10% or at least 40 cones are checked for Individual cone weight.
  7.  The same cones are taken to Laboratory for checking complete yarn parameters :
    1.  Count & Strength Test
    2.  Uster Test for U%, Imperfections and Hairiness
    3.  Uster Test for RKM and Elongation (for weaving Yarn)
    4.  TPI Test
    5.  Classimat Test
  8. All tests are carried out under the strict presence of our staffs.

BB) Further, we check the following to ensure consistency of quality:

  1.   Cotton quality parameters of running lots.
  2.  Ensure the narrow settings in Blow room and Autoconer sensors for Contaminations another online faults and cuts.
  3.   Mills overall systems, housekeeping and process parameters.
  4.   Cotton quality parameters of running lots.

CC) Further, we do fabric analysis for in-depth analysis of yarn quality and performance at fixed intervals as below:

  1.  We collect 100 cones randomly from the running production or the completed lot.
  2.  We knit around 10 kg of fabrics and check the grey fabrics thoroughly.
  3.  And then, we bleach, dye and analyse.

Analysis of fabrics:

  1.  Yarn Faults such as slub, thick, thin, neps and hairiness in Grey fabrics.
  2.  Shade Variation (Barry) after dyeing.
  3.  Dye absorption after dyeing.
  4.  Neps level after dyeing.
  5.  Contamination Level.
  6.  Hand feel, etc.

DD) We routinely collect the mills samples and get it tested at Common Testing labs at some fixed intervals to ensure the calibrations of mill’s testing equipment.

Once the production is completed, the following evaluations will be done from 5% of the total quantity, which we select randomly by ourselves:

  1.  Checking of Gross and Net weight of the rolls and compare the same as per weight mentioned on the rolls and packing list.
  2.  Fabric Dia and Width.
  3.  Stitch Length.
  4.  Yarn and Fabric faults analysis as per American 4 Point System or buyer’s given standard.
  5.  GSM.
  6.  Shrinkage.
  7.  Pilling test.
  8.  We collect the Yarn samples from the lot used for production and test the same for all parameters to ensure quality.
  9.  Randomly collecting the sample for our Bleaching and Dyeing trials for the following analysis:
    1.  Barry in both White and Dark Colour
    2.  Contamination level in White
    3.  Contamination level after dyeing
    4.  Dye absorption
    5.  Hairiness
    6.  Hand feel
    7.  Shrinkage
    8.  Neps Level
    9.  Pilling Test
    10.  Other tests that the buyer may specifically require

Once the production is completed, the following evaluations will be done from 5% of the total quantity which we select randomly by ourselves:

  1.  Checking of Gross and Net weight of the rolls and compare the same as per weight mentioned on the rolls and packing list.
  2.  Type of Weave
  3.  Ends per Inch
  4.  Picks per Inch
  5.  Fabric Width
  6.  Selvedge type and Width.
  7.  Roll Length
  8.  GSM and GLM
  9.  Yarn and Fabric faults analysis as per American 4 Point System.
  10.  We collect the Yarn samples from the lot used for production and test the same for all parameters to ensure quality
  11.  The following tests to be done at Third party testing lab from the fabric sample collected by us:
  12.  Size Pickup % for Warp Yarn
  13.  Other tests that the buyer may specifically require
